We’re currently recruiting a Head of Housing Services to lead and shape high‑quality landlord and neighbourhood services within Slough Borough Council.
Reports to: Director of Housing Services
Location: London
Contract: 6 months with future possible extension
About the role
The Head of Housing Services will be responsible for leading and developing frontline housing and neighbourhood teams, ensuring:
* Compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards.
* Continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Strong resident satisfaction and clear engagement through resident‑involvement initiatives.
You will provide strategic leadership to:
* Neighbourhood Management
* Resident Involvement
* Housing Business Intelligence
* Recharge and associated housing management functions.
What we’re looking for
* An experienced housing professional with a strong background in social housing operations and landlord services.
* Demonstrable experience of leading teams, managing change, and delivering resident‑centred services.
* Sound knowledge of the regulatory framework, rent and recharge management, and tenant engagement.
