About the Role As an SEN LSA, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will support students with a wide range of needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Your responsibilities will include: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support Assisting teachers in adapting lessons and learning materials Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Promoting positive behaviour and engagement strategies Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff Contributing to personalised learning plans and progress tracking About You We’re looking for someone who is: Patient, empathetic, and resilient A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Adaptable and proactive in meeting a variety of student needs Passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives Experience in an SEN setting is beneficial, but not essential—your attitude and commitment matter most.
