Harpers Interiors is a well-established interior design practice based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Supporting our creative director, you will be involved in all stages of the design process and your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day activities needed to ensure successful delivery of our projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
* As part of the initial consultation and design process, you will be expected to work from a written or verbal brief, producing detailed floor plans, elevations and cabinetry drawings.
* Support the production of client presentation packs by assisting with FF&E specification and sourcing.
* Provide suppliers and subcontractors with detailed drawings and specifications in order to obtain costs to feed into client estimate.
* Create client estimates with the utmost attention to detail ensuring that all parts of the proposal are captured and accurately costed.
* Produce a high-level plan ensuring that suppliers and subcontractors can deliver in line with client expectations.
* Throughout the project, liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and colleagues to ensure that the project remains on-track and clients are regularly updated.
* Attend site installations and coordinate activities ensuring a successful project implementation.
Person
We are looking for an individual who is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and can effectively communicate concepts and designs using technical drawings. This role demands someone with excellent organisational skills to manage the complexities of interior projects.
Essential Skills
* Years of experience working in a similar role in residential interior design projects.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with Apple/MacOS.
* Advanced AutoCAD skills coupled with experience of creating floorplans.
* Advanced SketchUp skills coupled with experience of creating floorplans and elevations.
* Experience producing photorealistic visuals with Enscape or 3DS Max.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Estimac.

* Working 37.5h per week, Monday to Friday.
