Production Support Technician - A Shift

Role and Responsibilities
Working within a cross functional team producing pharmaceutical products. Ensuring that production KPIs are delivered whilst meeting the highest standards of GMP and Health & Safety. Responsible for day-to-day activities in the department to meet the operational demand across Manufacturing / Filling & Packing, ensuring equipment used within the Production operation is cleaned to the required standards and maintained ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication/Team
Providing servicing support to the Manufacturing and Filling & Packing teams, working closely with the shift coordinators, ensuring equipment and parts are available and maintained to the set standards and service levels, through strong engagement and communication across the teams in order that individual and team objectives can be fulfilled.
2. Performance
Cleaning and servicing all production equipment to a high standard, following SOPs. Showing initiative in improvement projects for storage and tooling maintenance, taking responsibility for the work environment to ensure any issues which could affect quality or production output are raised in a timely manner and effective solutions are put in place to rectify faults.
3. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
Ensures quality checks and documentation are carried out to maintain quality product and that Wash Bays, Turret room and CPS storage areas are maintained to required standards of tidiness and cleanliness using 5S principles, ensuring audit readiness and accepting security responsibilities of the operation within the Production Support Dept.
4. Other
Carrying out any other reasonable task as requested to help ensure production operations meet demand and achieve improvements in performance, quality and safety.
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs of grade C or above in Maths & English (or equivalent)
* ‘A’ level or above (or equivalent)
* GMP background
* Cleaning or servicing of production equipment
* Process equipment maintenance
* Pharmaceutical industry
* 5S, GMP, Kaizen, workplace management, Process equipment TPM
* Action and results oriented
* Quality focused
* Good time management
* Positive attitude to work and an understanding of the need to change and improve
* Sound understanding of regulatory and business compliance
