Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant supervisor to become a part of the day to day operations of our restaurant and wine bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
In addition we are looking for someone passionate about the products we serve: as a natural wine bar we strive to work closely with organic and biodynamic suppliers in everything we do, and push for a higher quality of products across the board. The right candidate would help us further carry these practices across to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with the General manager and assistant manager to assure the front of house is maintained to a high standard
* Hold yourselves and those you work with to the values we hold within the restaurant.
* Once training is completed, opening and closing of the restaurant.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory / or full time waiting role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
* A passion for high quality sustainable produce with an interest in seasonality.
* An interest in natural wine and the wider wine world.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Pay for full time is between £28,000 - £32,000 with a tronc scheme for service charge on top of this which adds between £5000-£6500 annually.
