Job Title: Management Accountant Reports to: Finance Director Key Stakeholders: Founder, Senior Management Team and all budget holders– Operations, Marketing, Human Resources and Customer Service. Role Summary: This position plays a crucial role within LullaBellz and will take ownership of all daily financial transactional activities within LullaBellz and actively participate in all aspects of the finance function to support the Finance Director. This is a joint role, the successful candidate will be employed by LullaBellz but will work across two sectors, also supporting the work of the founder’s property company. This unique role blends commercial finance in the hair and beauty industry, with property financial management, offering a broad and rewarding scope for a highly organised and analytical finance professional. Key Responsibilities : LullaBellz (80% of working time): Ownership of Sales, Purchase and General ledgers Daily Bank Reconciliations Maintain Fixed Asset Prepare Management accounts Balance Sheet reconciliations KPI analysis and presentation Budget and cashflow support: Overhead control and forecasting Assist with information for year-end audit Providing day to day finance support to staff across all functions Airbnb Property Companies (20% of working time): Maintain accurate financial records for two short-term rental businesses Prepare monthly financial reports Reconcile booking platform transactions with bank statements Monitor maintenance, utilities, and service expenses across properties Track and manage cash flow, rental yields, and profitability per unit Ensure timely invoicing Assist with annual accounts, tax submissions Requirements: Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified or final stages of qualification Experience: 2 years’ experience in a management accounting or finance role Experience in beauty, cosmetics, retail, or FMCG industries preferred Skills: Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models, dashboards) Experience using accounting software (e.g., Xero and Sage) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Must be able to meet tight deadlines with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
