The role

1. Must possess a chartered or certified accountancy qualification (ACA or international equivalent)
2. Technical experience and practical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and/or US GAAP, and an interest in developing this knowledge further (e.g. audit or financial reporting experience)
3. A strong understanding of SOx compliance requirements and financial controls best practice, (e.g. as part of designing, implementing or testing controls in an audit or non-audit capacity)
4. Possession of strong team working and leadership skills, including the ability to work as a team and under your own initiative
5. Demonstrable experience of working on multiple projects, managing your time effectively to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines;
6. Technical financial services knowledge, including an understanding of the Insurance and Asset Management.
