This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the social media presence for a renowned Edinburgh-based restaurant. The position involves managing and growing the brand’s digital footprint through consistent content creation, community engagement, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, a strong understanding of social media trends, and the ability to collaborate on-site in Edinburgh. You will play a key role in shaping the restaurant’s online identity and fostering a vibrant community of followers.
Deliverables
* Develop and execute a weekly content calendar, producing 3–5 engaging posts and regular stories across key social platforms.
* Organise and coordinate quarterly content days, working with the team to capture high-quality visual and written content.
* Actively manage and grow the online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
* Provide occasional support for paid social campaigns, including basic ad setup and performance tracking.
* Monitor analytics to assess content performance and recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement.
Requirements
* Proven experience in social media marketing, ideally within the hospitality, food, or retail sectors.
* Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills, with a portfolio of successful social campaigns.
* Proficiency in major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and social media management tools.
* Ability to work in a hybrid format, with regular on-site presence in Edinburgh required.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with basic paid social advertising is a plus.
