We're looking for a Sub Agent to join a leading UK infrastructure specialist, supporting the delivery of high-profile water sector projects. With over 40 years of experience and a strong reputation for direct delivery, this is a unique opportunity to join a business where people truly come first. ️ The Role As a Sub Agent, you’ll take ownership of small civil engineering sites or support senior project leads on larger schemes. You’ll be responsible for ensuring delivery to client objectives with a focus on health & safety, quality, cost, and environmental standards. Key Duties Include: * Managing project programmes and delivery * Providing engineering support and technical leadership * Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards * Engaging with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams * Producing accurate reports and maintaining site records * Supporting direct delivery teams and promoting a safe working culture * Driving commercial performance and resource efficiency ♂️ About You Essential: * 5 years’ civil engineering experience (preferably in water infrastructure) * Strong understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regs, and cost control * HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent * CSCS & SMSTS certified * NEBOSH or IOSH qualified * UK driving licence * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Proven ability to deliver high-quality, compliant civil engineering works Desirable: * Experience with direct delivery contractors (e.g. Murphy, Ward & Burke, O'Connor Utilities) * Temporary Works Coordinator * Confined Space Training * CPCS Appointed Person card * Working toward CEng/IEng Why Apply?
