Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join our team in the defence sector at Wincanton based in Motherwell. Main responsibilities will be to maintain compliance with legislation, contract requirements, and to maintain relevant licences and accreditations. This will be for all Scotland contracts.
Essential qualifications and skills include:
* Strong background knowledge working and managing security processes.
* Experience in conducting internal audits, recording customer complaints, monitoring supplier performance, and managing quality documentation.
* Ability to investigate issues, produce reports, and conduct root cause analysis.
* Knowledge of security processes, management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Maintain and carry out internal audits, raise CARs, and produce monitoring reports.
* Record and manage customer complaints and supplier performance.
* Monitor and report on quarantine areas and processes.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and customer requirements, including UK and US regulations.
* Participate in site audits and inspections, update quality procedures and plans.
* Guide management in establishing regulatory requirements for new contracts.
What you will bring:
* Experience working in a defence environment is beneficial.
* Strong knowledge of security processes across contracts.
* Auditor skills and experience.
* Knowledge of CAA packaging requirements.
* Understanding of management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
* Ability to investigate issues and produce accurate reports.
* Customer-facing experience in quality and legislative issues.
* Flexibility to travel to other Scotland sites.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to employment, which includes providing 5 consecutive years of UK residence and employment/education history.
