A leading aerospace manufacturing business in Redditch is seeking a Quality Manager to take ownership of product quality across its precision engineering operation. This position is ideally suited to either an experienced Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer looking to progress into a management role within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 p.a.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving product quality standards, reducing non-conformances, improving manufacturing quality performance, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently achieved across the business.
Responsibilities
* Leading all product quality activities across manufacturing
* Managing customer quality concerns and driving effective corrective actions
* Reducing scrap, rework, and non-conformance levels across production
* Conducting root cause investigations using structured problem-solving techniques
* Supporting inspection and manufacturing teams to improve right-first-time performance
* Managing internal and external quality issues with customers and suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards
* Leading internal audits and supporting external customer audits
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process capability
* Developing and improving quality procedures, controls, and reporting methods
About You
* Previous experience within aerospace, precision engineering, or a highly regulated manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of product quality within a manufacturing setting
* Experience managing NCRs, CAPA, and customer quality issues
* Knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* The ability to lead quality improvements across production operations
* Previous leadership experience or the ambition to step into a management role
