Contract Details
Full Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Salary £14.17 - £14.99 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager where required.
* Support the Residential Care Workers with mandatory learning and individual development.
* Communicate with the on‑site team and raise awareness around individual care plans and their implementation.
* Maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files.
* Facilitate staff meetings to support good communication and staff development.
* Provide care and support to the young people within the services.
* Encourage young people in preparation to re‑enter education or engage in current schooling.
* Travel with young people to and from school or college.
* Prepare food at meal times and maintain the home, including cleaning, laundry, etc.
* Organise and facilitate social activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* 12 months senior experience in a residential setting is highly desirable; applications from those at the start of their journey are also encouraged.
* DBS check and reference checking as per government regulations.

Shift Pattern
