We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient interactions.
* Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised clinical environment.
* Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow.
* Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
* Uphold the practice's standards for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues confidently.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
* A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous professional development within the dental field.
