We're seeking an experienced and pro-active Neighbourhood Officer to support our social housing client in Liverpool for a minimum of 3+ months, starting ASAP (extension tbc)
This is a hybrid role with a mix ofmunity-based, home and office working, so a driving licence, access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance is essential to be considered.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver key tenancy and estate management functions across a designated patch, acting as a key point of contact for customers and a visible presence within themunity
2. Carry out estate inspections and walkabouts, identifying issues andmunal area concerns
3. Offer practical advice on a range of tenancy-related issues, supporting tenants at risk of tenancy failure by offering tenancy sustainment guidance and signposting to relevant services
4. Support voids and lettings processes, assisting with lettings, signups, allocations, reviews, audits and reviews
5. Manage low-medium level ASB cases and other tenancy breaches, working collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders andmunity groups
What you'll need to succeed
6. 6+ months recent experience in a Neighbourhood Housing Officer role within Social Housing
7. Good knowledge and understanding of housing, tenancy and estate management functions
8. Experience of managing low/medium level ASB cases, tenancy breaches and safeguarding issues
9. Driving licence with access to your own vehicle and valid business insurance
