* Leading maths across the school: You’ll be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for maths, collaborating with staff to ensure consistency and progression across year groups.
* Guiding and supporting colleagues: Provide support, share best practices, and offer advice to other teachers, helping them develop their maths teaching skills and confidence.
* Tracking progress and celebrating success: Use assessments to monitor student progress, providing tailored support to ensure every child excels, and celebrate their achievements along the way!
* Getting creative: Bring the fun back to maths with exciting lesson plans, interactive activities, and real-world applications that make maths feel relevant and exciting for students.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – We need a qualified teacher who is ready to inspire the next generation.
* A passion for teaching and a strong desire to see students thrive both academically and personally.
* A deep understanding of the national curriculum (especially in maths!) and how to make learning fun and accessible.
* Experience leading or a desire to lead in maths – if you’ve had previous leadership experience, great! If not, we’d love to support you to develop your leadership skills further.
* An ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative community.
What We Offer You:
* A flexible, part-time role with a fantastic work-life balance.
* A competitive salary and a supportive, friendly environment where your ideas are encouraged.
* The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students by igniting a passion for learning and maths in particular.
