Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking of high-quality dishes.
* Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
* Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of food presentation and taste.
Skills
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
* Culinary experience with a passion for cooking and hospitality.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
