The job will provide exposure to a range of MSK rotations across our 6 MSK sites, including persistent pain, upper and lower limb conditions, rehabilitation, acute injuries, and spines.
The individual will work as part of an innovative team and contribute to service development. You will provide supervision to colleagues and training to students and graduate staff.
We are pleased to invite a new Specialist Physiotherapist to join the MSK Physiotherapy team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop clinical skills in managing acute and chronic injuries within a dynamic team of MSK Physiotherapists.
The post holder will be responsible for comprehensive assessment and problem identification, including complex cases, and will produce highly specialised treatment plans based on evidence-based practice, clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and physical treatment techniques.
You will work independently as part of our MSK outpatient team, with excellent learning opportunities.
The department seeks an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and a good understanding of NHS systems and procedures.
This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening ('B1' Level if learned as an adult). This means the ability to hold simple conversations with patients, not fluency or report writing in Welsh. More details are available in the attached ‘Croeso Candidate!’ booklet.
