Private Client Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Lewes (East Sussex)
An established and reputable private practice is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join its close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and conscientious individual looking to develop their legal career within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The Role:
You will support Fee Earners across a range of private client matters, including:
* Drafting and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
* Assisting with probate applications and estate administration
* Liaising with clients, executors and external stakeholders
* Preparing documentation and maintaining accurate case records
* Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
Your Profile:
My client is looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience in a Private Client department, ideally within a smaller high street or regional firm
* Demonstrates a compassionate, professional manner when dealing with sensitive matters
* Possesses excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication
* Is confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
