Job Summary
We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a part time compassionate and patient-focused Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Neuro Rehabilitation Team within the Dudley Rehabilitation Service.
We are a multidisciplinary team who provide rehabilitation in the community in patients own homes and outpatient clinic settings. As a core member our integrated team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans promoting independence towards meaningful goals.
You will be an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload, using evidence-based practice to guide your interventions. You will engage in clinical supervision, continuous professional development, contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.
You will be supported by senior staff and have the opportunity to showcase your own leadership skills by supervising junior staff and students.

Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist occupational therapy services to adults with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other complex neurological disorders.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of motor, sensory, cognitive, and functional abilities.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate safe and effective discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide expertise in specialist seating and equipment recommendations.
* Manage a defined caseload and maintain accurate patient records.
* Supervise and support junior staff and students, contribute to service development initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications & Education
* Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with HCPC.
* Post-graduate experience working with patients who have long-term neurological conditions.
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Good knowledge of current best practice of Occupational Therapy in neuro rehabilitation and clinical guidelines.
* Supervision of junior staff and students.
