Senior Project Manager | Major Water Infrastructure | South Hampshire
£80,000 – £90,000 + Package / Freelance: £500 – £600 per day

If you’re an experienced Project Manager who thrives on complex, high-value waste & water scheme, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s most significant programmes, a multi-million-pound treatment and resilience upgrade.
You’ll be leading a high-performing delivery team, combining civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines, while working closely with the client to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.
The Role
• Take full responsibility for the delivery of a major water infrastructure project (c.£30m+)
• Manage programme, cost, quality, and safety performance across all disciplines
• Lead internal delivery teams and oversee subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Coordinate with designers and commissioning leads through design, build, and handover
• Manage risk, change control, and commercial reporting with precision
• Act as the main interface with the client, maintaining clear communication and confidence
• Drive project delivery culture across all project phases
What You’ll Need
• Proven experience delivering large-scale water or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of MEICA and civils integration
• Background in major frameworks (Thames, Southern, Affinity, Anglian, etc.)
• Excellent leadership and commercial awareness
• SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally a relevant degree or HNC in Engineering / Construction
• Full UK driving licence
