Our Self Invested Pensions business continues to grow and we are now looking for a SIPP / SSAS Property Consultant to join our vibrant Stirling office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where they have gained knowledge and experience SIPP / SSAS administration.

The Role
As a SIPP / SSAS Property Consultant with XPS you will:
1. Manage a portfolio of commercial property purchase and in-specie transfer transactions
2. Meet and exceed customer expectations whilst maintaining department service and quality standards
3. Ensure the quality of work is of the highest standard
4. Liaise with Financial Advisers, Solicitors and other property professionals to ensure the transaction completes as smoothly as possible
5. Working always to protect the interests of XPS, ensure department procedures are followed at all times. Within this context do everything to reassure clients and their advisers, and delight them wherever possible
6. Actively make recommendations to continually improve the department’s work processes and knowledge
7. Take ownership of their portfolio and all property related processes
8. Making sense of pensions
9. Check work of colleagues to ensure the quality of work is of the highest standard
10. Participate and help resolve complaints cases relating to property
Your profile
Essential Criteria
11. Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent
12. Previous experience in a similar SIPP/SSAS pensions role.
13. Have a broad range of communication and influencing skills
14. Attention to detail and the ability to challenge third parties when required
15. Confident, self-motivated, and very organised
16. Ability to see through complex processes to identify opportunities to improve
17. Able to work towards tight and urgent deadlines.
