Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer required to join a global, engineering manufacturer.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on packaging machinery, strapping machines, stretch wrappers, conveyor systems, and other electromechanics products across the UK, predominantly south of the UK.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer will ideally have a field service background in electrical or mechanical engineering servicing packaging machinery, conveyors, material handling, automation, vision systems, or other related electromechanical equipment.
We are also interested in receiving applications from candidates who have recently finished their degree, HND, HNC or apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on packaging machinery and electromechanical equipment at customer sites covering UK wide but predominantly south of the UK.
The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of packaging machinery, strapping machines, stretch wrappers, conveyor systems and other electromechanical products.
Installing electromechanical packaging machinery at customer sites.
Perform breakdown fault finding and repairs on various electromechanical equipment.
Commutable across the UK- predominantly the south of the UK. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on electrical / mechanical engineering systems. Full product training provided.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer or similar.
Field servicing background in electrical or mechanical engineering such as packaging machinery, conveyors, material handling, automation, vision systems, or other related electromechanical equipment.
Good working knowledge of programming / PLC’s is advantageous
Willingness to travel and commute across the UK – predominantly south of the UK north of the M4
