Contract: 40 Hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday)

What Will You Be Doing?
As a Plumber at Hilton Belfast, you will:
Carry out preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance across the hotel.
Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, faulty fixtures, and fittings efficiently and safely.
Install, test and commission new plumbing systems or components as needed.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations or guest experience.
Support the wider Engineering team with general maintenance duties when required.
Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, hotel policies, and relevant plumbing regulations.
Maintain detailed records of work completed, tools used, and parts ordered.
Communicate effectively with other departments and guests when needed, upholding Hilton's standard of professionalism at all times.
What Are We Looking For?
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience as a qualified Plumber (NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent certification or 2 years experience).
Excellent working knowledge of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to high standards of workmanship and guest satisfaction.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work a shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays if required.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in a hotel or similar customer-focused environment.
Familiarity with other general maintenance tasks (e.g., HVAC, minor electrical or carpentry).
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
