- 23:30 OR 13:00- 01:00am About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Milling Machining Technician to join a specialist engineering team on the weekend shift.
Working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday across 12-hour shifts, you will play a key role in producing high-quality transmission components for motorsport, aerospace, and high-performance engineering sectors.
You'll work within a small team that values precision, collaboration, and a right-first-time mentality.
Full support will be provided through EdgeCam and Delcam offline programming as well as guidance from an experienced team leader.
Key Responsibilities Manufacture precision components from technical drawings and route cards.
Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis (32) CNC machines to tight tolerances.
Read and interpret Fanuc machine code, performing basic on-machine programming.
Edit CNC programs and adjust speeds/feeds to optimise machining performance.
Use measurement tools to inspect components and ensure specification compliance.
Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Support wider manufacturing activities when required.
Work overtime and operate multiple machines when necessary to meet KPIs.
(Desirable) Apply basic knowledge of wire erosion.
