Job Title: Cleaner
Salary: Grade 1
Hours: 10 hours per week term time only – Plus 2 weeks (41 weeks) – 3.30pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Greenfield Primary School is a LEA controlled school with 280 children on roll. The education and welfare of the children is supported by a caring, friendly, hardworking and experienced team of teaching and non-teaching staff, with a supportive board of governors, who work to whole school policies and through careful planning.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated cleaner to join our school team. You will work under the guidance of the Site Manager to provide a high standard of cleaning across the school. Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties to ensure areas of work are cleaned to the required standard/specification. You will work as part of a team to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school. Training will be given. Previous experience would be desirable.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties across the school to the required standard/specification.
* Work as part of a team under the guidance of the Site Manager to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
* Assist with general cleaning tasks as required and follow school policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Training will be provided; previous cleaning experience is desirable.
* Complete medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check as part of safeguarding requirements.
* Ability to provide documentation proving right to work in the UK.
* Note: Sponsorship is not offered for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK.
