This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in IT. You will provide first-line technical support in a Windows-based environment, assist with hardware installations and repairs, and receive on-the-job training to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to users via Teams, email, and in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with user account management and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Document support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Support IT projects and initiatives as directed by the IT Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure equipment is stored securely.

Essential:
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or technical support role.
