Within this role, you’ll be an integral part of the healthcare team. You could be involved in developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
Salary: This position is full time, you’ll receive an hourly rate of £23 an hour. Hours: Monday – Sunday, 7am–8pm. You will work on a rota basis covering weekends on rotation, and nights as required to cover staff leave and sickness.

Main duties of the job
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them, focusing on emergency and unplanned care for patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
* Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
* Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following our policies and procedures, always considering safeguarding.

Qualifications and experience
* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post-registration ambulance experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non-judgemental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
