Salary: £37,868 - £56,154 per year
Teach Now is recruiting a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Brent from September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3-KS5
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
* Develop students' reading, writing, analytical and critical thinking skills
* Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability learners
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
* Participate in enrichment activities such as reading clubs, creative writing groups or theatre trips

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply)
* Degree in English or a related subject
* Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to raising student attainment and engagement
* Experience teaching A-Level English or contributing to literacy initiatives or extracurricular activities would be advantageous.
