Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Senior to join our finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This position plays an important part in ensuring accurate billing, efficient income management, and reliable financial information across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
Billing & Revenue Processing
* Complete daily and monthly invoice uploads via Sage Intacct.
* Review and verify credit notes before they are finalised.
Reconciliations & Account Maintenance
* Perform detailed reconciliations on customer accounts and investigate variances.
* Prepare refund packs following account review and authorisation.
* Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate documentation.
Cash Allocation & Banking
* Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account positions.
* Lead bank reconciliations and support month-end tasks, including revenue reconciliation.
Operational Support
* Assist with reviewing aged accounts and progressing outstanding items.
* Provide clear, well-organised responses for audit requests.
About You
* Minimum of three years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
* Confident working with finance systems and capable of navigating multiple platforms.
* Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling high-volume data.
* Analytical approach and strong problem-solving ability.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines independently.
* Professional communicator who can work effectively with teams across different sites.
* Proactive, motivated, and a strong team player.
Desirable
* AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of accounting processes and best practice.
