We have new opportunities available for full time or part time Senior Support Workers, working waking nights to join the team at our Knowsley Supported Living Service Bluebell Lane, L36 7XY. The service is due to become CQC early 2025.
35 per hour
Hours: 36, 24 or 12 per week working 12 hour shifts 8pm-8am.
The team provide a 24 service for people with a mental health diagnosis and will support people in crisis short term for up to 2 years to a point where they can move on. The service also provides a crisis emergency bed.

As Senior Support Worker you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values based support is delivered to the highest standard so previous extensive Support Worker experience is essential. Due to the complex nature of the service it is important that you have experience of supporting people with mental health conditions, a strong understand of safeguarding and able to work under pressure.
You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person centred basis. Tasks will include following a care plan, medication administering & domestic tasks.
On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
