£25,000 - £35,000 (actual salary, dependent on experience)
An experienced and proactive Attendance & Inclusion professional is sought to take on a key role supporting student engagement, attendance and safeguarding within a secondary setting.
This is a varied position with both strategic and operational elements, working closely with senior leadership to drive improvements in attendance, inclusion and student welfare.
The successful candidate will:
-Lead and support attendance and inclusion initiatives
-Analyse attendance data to identify trends and implement targeted interventions
-Work closely with pastoral teams, safeguarding leads and external agencies
-Engage with students and families to remove barriers to attendance and education
-Contribute to a culture of high expectations and strong student outcomes
This role would suit someone confident operating at both a strategic and hands on level, with the ability to influence practice while remaining close to day to day delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience in an attendance, welfare or inclusion-focused role within education or a related setting
-A strong understanding of safeguarding processes and statutory guidance
-The ability to build effective relationships with students, families and external agencies
-Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
-A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
