This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Freelance Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager you will be delivering a new commercial scheme in central London.
The Role
You will ensure that you understand all project specifications under your remit and track changes that might have incurred during tender negotiations, also to ensure installations are delivered on time and to budget, and to ensure all adequate resources are in place when required for both installers and in terms of materials. Prepare for site mobilization, undertake weekly site inspections, attend project meetings, check and ensure labor resource, manage program of works, check quantities of materials and ensure all health and safety methods are adhered to and achieved.
THE CANDIDATE
* Holder of a construction/property related academic qualification (Architect or Civil Engineer)
* Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
* A strong base of contract administration with the full JCT suite.
* Experience with the CDM 2015 regulations.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Client facing skills, presenting well and professional manner to represent the business.
* Significant experience (minimum 10 years)
* Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certificate
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES;
* Management of team on site and coordination of internal resources with team
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, project consultants etc. to determine the specifications of the project
* Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
* Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
* Management of all day-to-day site activities
* Management of sub-contractor activities against schedule and monitoring manpower levels
