Job Description
Oversee the end-to-end financial control of stock valuations and inventory for the Finance DepartmentEnsure accurate and timely stock reconciliation between financial records and physical stock counts.Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain effective inventory controls and minimise stock discrepancies.Analyse stock movements / Transactions to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.There is elements of Finance Business PartneringPrepare and review stock-related financial reports, forecasts, and budgets - Supporting the Finance Director Lead month-end and year-end stock accounting processes, including impairment reviews and stock adjustments.Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and relevant regulatory standards related to stock management.Support ERP system integration or enhancements related to stock finance modules.Train and manage finance team members involved in stock accounting.
The Successful Applicant
3. This opportunity with suit a confident communicator with ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders from various divisions of the organisation.
4. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. (Studier)
5. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, management Accounting with exposure to stock/inventory accounting.
6. Strong knowledge of stock valuation principles, inventory control, and financial reporting.
7. Experience with ERP systems. Very confident Excel user.
