We’re recruiting on behalf of our clients at their beautifully refurbished, family-owned boutique inn, located just outside North Walsham, near the stunning Norfolk Broads. Surrounded by 9 acres of tranquil countryside, the property features 8 elegant bedrooms, two characterful cottages, and a relaunched restaurant and bar offering a blend of traditional and contemporary English cuisine. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Breakfast Chef to join their kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering a high-quality breakfast experience. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional meal. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and cook breakfast to order for hotel guests and occasional walk-ins * Set up and manage the breakfast section efficiently each morning * Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control * Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety standards * Assist with stock control and prep for the following day when needed * Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen team members About You * Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar kitchen role * Confident working independently in a morning kitchen setting * Strong time management and organisational skills * A passion for fresh ingredients and well-executed breakfast dishes * Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures * Positive, professional attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction What’s On Offer * £13.50–£15.50 per hour, depending on experience * Friendly, family-owned working environment * Beautiful countryside setting near the Norfolk Broads * Opportunity to be part of a growing, creative hospitality team Love early starts and creating memorable breakfasts?
