M&A Legal Counsel – London Our client, a dynamic and highly acquisitive listed company, is seeking an M&A Legal Counsel to join their London-based legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment, supporting the company’s ambitious global growth strategy through strategic acquisitions. Key Responsibilities: Advising on and managing M&A transactions from inception to completion, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents, including SPAs, shareholder agreements, NDAs, and other corporate agreements. Coordinating with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and advisors to ensure smooth execution of deals. Assisting with corporate governance matters, including regulatory compliance, board approvals, and disclosure requirements. Providing strategic legal advice on post-merger integration and risk mitigation. Monitoring market trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting M&A and corporate transactions. Candidate Requirements: UK-qualified solicitor with 3-5 years PQE, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm. Strong experience in M&A, private equity, and/or corporate transactions. Experience advising on cross-border transactions is highly desirable. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment with multiple ongoing deals. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
