Responsibilities as an Asbestos Analyst:
1. Carry out 4 stage clearances and other air test backgrounds including smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
2. Liaise and build a rapport with contractors.
3. Ensure that all administrative work is completed to a thorough and high standard - following AEC UKAS procedures.
4. Develop a professional approach to site works.
5. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
6. Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
Asbestos Analyst Requirements:
1. Must possess the BOHS P403 & P404 (or) RSPH equivalent.
2. Proven experience in asbestos air-monitoring.
3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. A can-do attitude to work and problem solver.
5. Must be well-versed and understand the principles of the HSG 248 Analyst Guide.
6. Have a positive work ethic.
7. Understanding of the industry and the need to be flexible around client needs/availability.
