Hotel Director of Sales
We are currently recruiting foraDirector of Salesto join our Management team at DoubleTree by Hilton London Elstree. With 135 spacious bedrooms and extensive food and beverage offerings, busy conference and banqueting suites and a leisure club. Thisis a full-time role.
Objective of the Role as a Director of Sales
Are you an ambitious Director of Sales looking to work in a fun, stimulating and engaging environment? As the Director of Sales, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure corporate and leisure revenue and room night sales are achieved, tactical plans are created, implemented and accomplished.

About the role as a Director of Sales
Manage daily sales activities.
Proactively build relationships with local corporates through face-to-face meetings, networking events and visits
Develop and maintain great working relationships with key clients and outside contacts to increase revenue.
Manage RFPs
To respond to and follow up on sales enquiries for both rooms and M.I.C.E
Hit all personal sales goals and maximise profitability.
Help prepare the departmental budget and financial plans including the hotel marketing plan.
Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume and food and beverage sales.
Produce and review monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.
Create and develop special events & sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients. Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the properties.
Work closely with the General Manager, Head Office team, and representatives of local community groups within the area to ensure constant high-profile exposure for the property.
Identify improvements to marketing activities and overall hotel sales performance and work with other departments.
