Acquisition and Property Development Manager
Salary: From £40,000 + car allowance
Hours: 37.5 per week | Hybrid (Northampton HO & London office)
Bright Horizons UK is seeking an experienced Acquisition and Development Manager to drive growth by sourcing and acquiring sites for new nursery developments, conversions, and fit-outs.
Experience in a similar role and relevant Education is essential
Closing Date: 28/2/26 or sooner
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and research new property opportunities, including acquisitions.
* Build strong relationships with developers, agents, and investors.
* Lead due diligence, feasibility assessments, and financial modelling.
* Negotiate leases and purchase agreements.
* Prepare business cases for board approval and oversee development to opening.
* Monitor performance of new sites post-opening.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in property acquisition and development (education, retail, or leisure preferred).
* Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of planning requirements and L&T law.
* Degree in Property/Development and ideally MRICS (or working towards).
* Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications:
* Relevant degree, post graduate degree, and professional qualification in Property/Development
* Evidence of continuous professional development (essential)
* Chartered Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) (or working towards) (desirable)
* Full, clean driving licence (essential)
