As Group Financial Controller, you’ll be a senior figure within the finance team, working closely with the Group Finance Director and Regional COO to ensure robust reporting, insightful analysis, and operational alignment across the group. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, evolving business where you’ll help shape how finance supports the wider organisation.
The Role:
* Lead, develop, and support the regional and local Finance teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Work in close partnership with the COO and senior management teams, providing strong financial leadership
* Prepare and deliver weekly cashflow forecasts and P&L reports to support decision-making
* Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow statements
* Present monthly financial performance at business review meetings, clearly explaining key variances against budget and offering meaningful insight into business trends
* Lead the preparation of budgets and reforecasts in line with Board expectations and timelines
* Oversee fixed asset reporting and controls across the region
* Support the Group Finance Director in the timely completion of external audits
* Champion continuous improvement in finance systems and processes
* Play a key role in the regional rollout of a new ERP system
* Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting as required by the regional leadership team
The Person:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant
* At least 4 years experience within industry
* Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team
* Experience in dealing with auditors and external stakeholders
* Exposure to fast-paced, high growth environment
* Ability to travel globally once per quarter
