Overview
Architectural Technician Job in Chelsea, London. Contract, immediate start. This position is likely to last until December 2025 and involves working on a large-scale high-end residential London-based project. The architectural practice is based in Chelsea and pays £20 - £25 per hour.

Responsibilities
* Be brought into the practice on a contract basis to support a growing workload in the super prime residential sector. The successful candidate will work as part of the technical team and will be required to produce high-quality technical drawing packages and construction details for a large-scale high-end property in London.
* Prepare and write specifications using NBS Chorus.
* Assist with site inspections by conducting condition surveys, site progress assessments and analysis of build work and defects.
Required Skills & Experience
* Residential experience is essential, and experience within the high-end residential sector is a bonus.
* Excellent knowledge of UK planning and building consents.
* Minimum of 3 years UK experience.
* Strong design eye and detailing, with solid technical knowledge.
* Confidence in technical design and construction stages.
* Technically strong with a keen eye for detail.
* NBS experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to carry out detailing and construction information for residential projects.
* High proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a bonus but not essential.
* Ability to sketch by hand and in 3D and 2D.
* Confidence in hitting the ground running.
* Ideally able to start ASAP or within a couple of weeks’ notice.

* Office hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
