Alongside world-leading HVOR customers, Sensata is creating products that enhance the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of battery electric systems, supporting the next generation of trucks, buses, and stationary storage systems. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization. This role ensures that all aspects of the program are completed on time and within budget, acting as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and schedules for new initiatives.
3. Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
5. Resolve high-level scope issues within projects.
6. Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
8. Implement and manage changes to achieve project objectives.
9. Engage with stakeholders to facilitate transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions.
10. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
11. Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications
* A university degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and demands.
* Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Self-accountability in achieving goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively at all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.
Additional Leadership and Technical Skills
* Lead a multi-functional global team in defining system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Define and develop business cases for new opportunities.
* Implement product cost roadmaps aligned with company priorities.
* Lead specific change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Manage customer-facing projects.
* Oversee new technology developments in line with industry changes in heavy vehicles.
Specific Experience / Qualifications
* At least 3+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment.
* Experience leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Desirable: Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments, particularly electric vehicles.
* Desirable: Prior knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety requirements for the automotive industry.
