JOB TITLE: Temporary Procurement Administrator
LOCATION: Bridgwater
HOURLY RATE: £15 P/H
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:15pm

We are seeking a Procurement Administrator to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in Bridgwater. This is a temporary role for 4 to 8 weeks, supporting the Procurement Team during a busy period. While this is initially a temporary position, there is potential for the successful candidate to be considered for a permanent opportunity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
7. Raise and maintain purchase orders with suppliers
8. Manage and update the internal purchasing status tracker
9. Liaise with goods-in and finance teams to ensure smooth invoice processing
10. Oversee staff uniform procurement and distribution
11. Monitor and report on stock levels, working with operations to maintain optimal inventory
12. Support continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes
13. Assist in managing supplier relationships and performance
14. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure supplier compliance
15. Contribute to the implementation of efficient procurement systems and tools
KEY SKILLS:
16. Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role is advantageous
17. Strong administrative skills, particularly in raising purchase orders
18. Highly organised, numerate, and detail-oriented
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems
20. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
21. Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
