The role
As Share Plan Manager you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary.
You will oversee the administration and global management of the Group’s share plans, both all-employee and Discretionary.
This is a newly created role in the Company Secretariat following the extension of the Babcock Colleague Share Plan across the global business.
You will be responsible for managing the relationship with external administrators and collaborating across functions and regions to deliver seamless, compliant and engaging share plans. A full role description is available on request.
This role is full time 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite.
Essential experience of the Share Plan Manager
1. Demonstrable experience in employee equity share plans, including expertise in managing international share schemes across multiple tax and regulatory jurisdictions
2. Understanding of the legal, tax and accounting regulations governing employee share plans
Qualifications for the Share Plan Manager
3. Educated to Degree Level
4. The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) Certificate in Employee Share Plans is highly desirable
5. And/or other professional qualification (governance, tax or finance).

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
