We are seeking a confident and dependable Experienced Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone with proven classroom management experience who can step into lessons and keep learning on track in the teacher's absence. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring pupils remain focused and follow set work.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson engagement and student conduct.
* Support pupils with their learning and maintain a calm, productive learning environment.
* Cover lessons at short notice and adapt quickly to different year groups and subjects.
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
* Has 6 months experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role.
* Is confident managing large groups of students independently.
* Understands secondary school routines and expectations.
* Is adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Cover Supervisor.
* May hold a relevant qualification or training in classroom behaviour management.
* Must be able to drive
