Job Overview
We are looking for a junior web developer to join our engineering team in Cambridge. You will be working on the Wolf Security Controller – a web-based management platform for our endpoint security product. The Controller handles security policy, software updates, status, events and threat data from clients and produces interactive visualisations. It is deployed at scale on‑premises and in the cloud.
Responsibilities
* Develop the API and UI backend using Python 3, Django, and SQL
* Build and maintain background worker services and task queues with Celery
* Create front‑end UI and data visualisation components with React, Typescript, or Vue.js
* Handle deployment to AWS and manage installation and upgrades on customers’ self‑hosted servers
* Write unit tests, automated installation tests, and contribute to CI processes
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject (or master’s) from a well‑regarded university
* Demonstrable interest in web development through hobbies, student projects or internships
* Self‑starter mindset, ready to tackle complex problems
* Graduate placement or 1‑year position for students graduating 2025/2026
About the Role
This is a graduate web developer placement. You will have the opportunity to specialise in front‑end or back‑end or progress as a full‑stack developer, with potential to work on the Windows endpoint management platform components in C# and C++.
