Exclusive opportunity for an experienced Digital PR leader to build and scale a new Digital PR function within an award-winning, performance-driven marketing agency.
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for establishing and growing a Digital PR offering that works in close alignment with SEO and content to drive measurable organic performance. You will lead strategy, execution and team development, ensuring Digital PR activity delivers authority, visibility and search impact for clients.
Working alongside senior stakeholders across organic search, content and strategy, you will embed SEO-informed thinking into Digital PR campaigns while building a scalable, commercially credible service.
Central London based, 3 days in office, 2 from home
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic direction and development of the Digital PR offering
* Own end-to-end Digital PR campaigns, from ideation and pitching through to execution, reporting and evaluation
* Ensure Digital PR activity is informed by SEO insight, search intent and organic performance objectives
* Act as senior client lead, advising on Digital PR strategy, SEO alignment and campaign outcomes
* Collaborate closely with SEO, content, strategy and creative teams to deliver integrated organic growth campaigns
* Develop scalable processes, frameworks and quality standards for Digital PR delivery
* Build, line-manage and develop a high-performing Digital PR team, including recruitment and capability development
* Lead campaign ideation rooted in data, audience insight and search opportunity analysis
* Create and execute outreach strategies with multiple press angles aligned to both media and search objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, publishers and digital media contacts
* Identify publishers and opportunities using SEO tools, link analysis, journalist databases and social listening
* Support new business activity including pitch input, proposition development and identifying opportunities within existing accounts
* Represent the business at industry events and contribute to marketing activity including thought leadership and commentary
* Produce clear, insight-led reporting demonstrating impact across coverage, links, authority and organic visibility
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Digital PR or a broader PR-centric background
* Strong working knowledge of SEO, including link acquisition, authority building and organic performance drivers
* Experience working in a performance-led or search-driven agency environment
* Proven experience building, leading and developing teams
* Strong track record managing multiple client accounts and complex workflows
* Experience scaling services and supporting revenue growth
* Commercially minded, with the ability to connect Digital PR activity to SEO and business outcomes
* Confident senior stakeholder and client communicator
* Strategic, data-informed and delivery-focused
