Our client is a leader in marketing, communications & printing, and following a significant business expansion is now recruiting and looking for a Finance Assistant to join their 20+ strong Finance Team, this is a hybrid role, mostly work from home.The role of the Finance Assistant will offer a broad range of experience, exposure and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities for the Finance Assistant will include:
* Providing support as required to all finance teams (purchase ledger, credit control and management accounts)
* Downloading bank statements and entering cashbook transactions into Sage for purchase and sales ledger
* Working closely with management accounts to resolve cashbook queries
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Direct debit allocations
* Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Data entry to ensure that the system information is up to date
What we are looking for in the Finance Assistant:
* Has experience with a SME / privately owned business
* Previous experience working in manufacturing, print or logistics
* Knowledge of Sage
