The Role:
As a Bank Pharmacist, you’ll play a key role in delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service across the hospital. You’ll be working closely with consultants, clinicians, and patients to ensure the safe, effective, and ethical use of medicines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing an exemplary pharmacy service in line with current legislation and professional standards
2. Offering expert advice to consultants, clinicians, and patients on medication use
3. Supporting departments with safe medicines management and compliance
4. Promoting a collaborative, patient-centred approach to care
Who we are Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who brings both clinical expertise and a personable, team-oriented approach. You’ll be:
5. A qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPhC (with no restrictions)
6. Ideally experienced in a hospital setting (minimum 2 years preferred)
7. Familiar with SAP systems (desirable but not essential)
8. A confident communicator with a friendly and empathetic manner
9. Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Working Hours: This role involves working up to two shifts per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00, with additional flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness absence as required.
