IT Support Technician
Are you an experienced IT Support Technician ready to take your skills to the next level in a dynamic and collaborative environment?Join our clients Group IT team, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support across multiple departments and companies.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first and second-line support via a central help desk.
* Diagnose and resolve issues with IT and telephony equipment.
* Monitor IT systems proactively to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime.
* Carry out planned maintenance with minimal disruption to core business functions.
* Liaise with third-party suppliers and support providers.
* Maintain system and user security, including access control and password management.
* Contribute to a culture of continual improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
* Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety and company guidelines.
What We’re Looking For Essential:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, Office Suite, and Active Directory.
* Solid understanding of basic networking (DHCP, DNS, routing).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices.
Desirable:
* Experience with Entra (Azure), Intune.
* PBX Management/Maintenance.
* Knowledge of enhanced networking.
* VMWare experience.
* Backup and data storage management skills.
