The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business across the Midlands, with a strong focus on apprenticeships. This is a client-facing role where you will identify opportunities, build relationships, and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively generating new business opportunities and expanding the client base
* Building and nurturing relationships with employers across a range of sectors
* Promoting apprenticeship programmes and tailoring solutions to meet client needs
* Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract closure
* Working closely with internal delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience
* Keeping up to date with market trends and funding changes within apprenticeships

You’ll be an experienced and well-rounded Business Development professional with a strong background in apprenticeships and a proven ability to win new business.
You will have:

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
